I like to express myself with relatable situations that are easier to understand than verbose rhetoric.
A definition of conjecture might start us off well.
Webtransitive verb. 1. : to arrive at or deduce by surmise or guesswork : guess. scientists conjecturing that a disease is caused by a defective gene. 2. : to make conjectures as to. conjecture the meaning of a statement. intransitive verb. : to form conjectures.
Just so we're clear; these conjectures are my guesses and are the way I can express what might have happened thousands of years ago. But please read on, I have a great imagination. I even have a goal: to be well thought of in Heaven. Our spirits, or souls, will not be like earthly humans, we won't be arrogant or snobby. We will all be nice beings.

I think that the Bishop Eleutherius misinterpreted the Bible, and unfortunately, a lot of clergy have taught it wrong ever since. In 170 a.d. when he issued his edict declaring that all foods are clean and should not be avoided. Look under "Historical Figures" on this website.
Now, the Dietary Laws of Moses were not in the Ten Commandments, but they were rules given to Moses by God.

Now, about those conjectures. What makes certain meats unclean? And how are these meats so bad as to keep you out of Heaven? We know a few things about these meats, eating them will make you unclean, touching the carcasses will make you unclean. If you drop the raw unclean meat on dishes or a stove, or an oven, all the things touched by the raw meat must be destroyed. If the meat touches wet seeds, they must be destroyed, but if the seeds are dry, they are still clean. Leviticus 11:31-40. (KJV)

So, there are a lot of ways that you become unclean, but take note that if you go home, bathe and wash your clothes, you will be clean by evening. So that whatever made you unclean lasts about 6 hours. Just a guess.
I'm showing you the different factors involved in my conjectures. I'll be putting it all together in a moment. Another big factor is what God says about blood. The scripture says that life is in the blood.

And science has proved that if the blood remains in the animal, it will ruin the meat, making it inedible.

In Leviticus 11:35 (above) the earthenware cooking implements must be destroyed. But in verse 32, the vessels made of wood, cloth or skin could be washed in the same situation, touching unclean meat. So, our unclean meat makes the earthenware unusable because it is porous and will retain whatever makes the meat unclean.

My Biggest Conjecture
I think that using the importance of blood, and its ability to affect meat if not drained immediately, God allowed Satan to add something to the blood that would make souls unwelcome in Heaven.
Now, remember the Garden of Eden, God could have stopped Eve from eating from the apple. But God gave man, and woman, free will, so that they could either be great companions in the hereafter or, they would end up in Hell. Without free will, Heavenly companions would be like sheep without any of their own diverse characteristics.
I have created a name for the organism that Satan put into the blood. I call them "Satan Soul Hooks". They are little wisps of ethereal matter that attach to your soul as your soul leaves your now-dead body. These Hooks are activated by the dying blood, so your own Hook will not be ready when your soul leaves, but any other hooks you picked up will attach to your soul and follow you to the Pearly Gates. (Remember, this is my imagination, but keep reading, it all fits together) The sad part about the Hooks is that they carry the Feel of Death, so any other clean soul will be uncomfortable around your stinky soul. So, Saint Peter will be turning you way at the Gates. The Bible told you how to avoid this situation. You, with your free will, might decide to disobey God. One super obvious characteristic about God is his demand for obedience, and his willingness to exact punishment if disobeyed.

My Next Big Conjecture
Following my thoughts, we see that the Soul Hooks come from a dead animal, but going home for 6 hours seems to take away the bad effects of the Hooks.
